Alcohol on Board
While we want those chartering the Sacajawea to enjoy the cruise, it is important for charterers to understand alcohol must be consumed only in moderation aboard the Sacajawea. The Sacajawea is not a "drinking party boat."
The subject of alcohol aboard a charter boat is a complex matter: If we as operators of the boat sold alcohol by the glass, we could control the usage for those few that have difficulty knowing their limits. But, we do not have a liquor permit. As a result, for the safety and well-being of the passengers and crew, the following rules regarding alcohol apply without exception.
- In cooperation with the charterer, Catalyst cruises will determine the amount of alcohol that will be permitted on board.
- No kegs of any size are permitted.
- Hard liquor will be available only with permission of Catalyst Cruises.
- The person chartering the boat is responsible for limiting the consumption of alcohol by an individual who is having difficulty controlling his or her behavior.
- If a person becomes a problem for the crew or passengers, and for the safety of the boat, Catalyst Cruises reserves the right to terminate the cruise without a refund.
By keeping these rules in mind, charterers can help assure that the experience aboard the Sacajawea is pleasant and safe for everyone on board.
No Swimming Allowed
Because of liability issues, there is absolutely no swimming or diving off the Sacajawea.
